Gosh were does the time go, i have had quite a busy couple of weeks, we had a card class last Saturday with about 50 ladies split over the morning and the afternoon, so quite a bit of time was spent designing and prepping for that, but it was all worth it, as we had a good fun day. Then this week we have been designing some cards for Dimension Stamps Ltd, Roy is on Create and Craft on Tuesday. We also did a demo for our local craft shop on Tuesday and a make and take on the Thursday.
Just wanted to share with you the two cards i designed for our Saturday class, the first card is called 'Hold my Hand' by Diane Carubia, i've not used any of her designs before, but i thought this was so cute, it stamps beautifully. The second card is one of Dimension Stamps images, i thought it would make a good mans card.

Santas Selection
Hello everyone, what a horrible wet day. I was on holiday last week in Porthmadog, weather was a bit mixed, but managed to get a bit of walking done. Before i went away i did some examples for Dimension Fourth, using a stamp set called "Santas Selection". Here are just two of the cards i made using the set. For the first card i used shrink plastic for the greeting and the little embellishment on the thread, after i stamped the text block i then used distress ink and a water brush to high light the text, the 25th Dec stamp in the middle i covered with Glossy Accents. The second card, i coloured in using Promarkers, i used three of the stamps from the set to make this card.

I think summer has come back to us, been a nice sunny day here today. Just want to share a card i made you. I used an Inkylicious daisy stamp, it is a set of stamps, and there are a couple of flower heads and leaves in the set so you can build up the image further.
I have stamped the image on crumbcake card from SU, then i masked the flower, and stamped over with a Hero Arts script stamp. I coloured the image in with Karisma pencils.

Good afternoon everyone, giving myself some time to update my blog. I have had quite a busy couple of weeks, I have been doing some examples for Dimension Fourth, and we also had a workshop on Saturday, which was a very busy day.
The two cards which i have put on my blog were just two of the cards the ladies made on Saturday. The first card using the snowmen was a stamp by Dimension Fourth, i enjoyed working with these stamps, the images were always crisp and sharp. The second stamp was Penny Black, its a stamp i have had for a couple of years, one of my favs.

Butterfly Tree
Well the weather is better than they forcast today, i've had a nice day in today catching up with bits and pieces that needed doing around the house. Thought while i've got chance i would update my blog. My latest card i have made is by Little Claire, 'Butterfly Tree', its a pretty stamp set, i think it was the tree that attracted me to the set. The circle sentiment is by LOTV.

Here are two cards i designed for a class last week, The hero arts stamp is one that i have had for a couple of years, one of my favourites, i coloured the background to the stamp with alcohol inks and also the ribbon. The other card is a LOTV stamp i bought at Port Sunlight in May. Hope you like them.

My second card has been stamped with Rubber Stampede 'Woman in Repose' and Hero Arts Italian Poetry, these are two stamps i have had for a number of years.

Stitch and Sew
We have had another lovely day today, makes you feel so much better when the sun is shining. We have been looking for a new venue for our classes today, think we have found one.
This is a card i did on one of our workshops a couple of weeks ago, i couldn't find the photo i had taken. The stamp is one from Personnal Impressions, i have only used two of the stamps in the set there are about another 4 or 5 stamps in the set.

Christmas with Dimension Fourth
Here are a couple of cards i have designed for Dimension Fourth, the little snowmen are back to back snowmen, they are sold in a set and you get the front of the snowmen and the back, so you can place an apperture in your card, and when you open your card you will see the back view of the snowmen. The stamps of the second card are also in the same set, there are 13 stamps in all.

I have been busy designing a couple of cards with Dimension Fourths stamps, Beauty is a state of mind' the stamps were really good to work with, i particularly like the stamp which says 'Beauty is a state of mind', its looks really nice stamped onto shrink plastic . Now i am making some cards using distress ink and alcohol inks for a demo i am doing at my local garden centre on Saturday.

'Pom Pom'
Wednesday, 11 May 2011
I must be on a roll now, here is another 2 card i designed for one of our classes, I used an Inkadinkadoo stamp for the first card, and coloured it with Distress inks. I applied the colours to a plastic pallete and then picked them up with a waterbrush pen.
The second card was done with the Woodware Poppy stamp. I have only used part of the image and cut it into six pieces then pieced it back together again leaving small gaps inbetween. I coloured the poppy with Promarkers. The stamp behind the poppy is a Hero Arts stamp 'Manuscript Background'.
Tuesday, 10 May 2011
Hello, it's been a long time since i have put anything on my blog. I think its the taking of the pictures that put me off, they never seem to look right, or i never seem to take them at the right time when the light is best, so i end up doing nothing. These next two cards i have made for examples for my local craft shop. They are from 'Wild Rose Studio', and i have coloured them with Promarkers. I had a go the other day of using pencils to colour in my images, and then using Sansador, but i didnt have much sucess, i shall have to keep on practicing. Hope you like my new cards, will try and post more often.

The second card was made using a Go Kreate die called 'Boo on his bum'. Hope you like the cards.
