A selection of class cards

Good evening, it has been a lovely bright day here, a little bit cool in that wind, but its nice to see the sun shining. I just thought i would share a couple of the cards we made on Saturday's class. This first card is by Dimension Stamps, 'Luscious Lily'. The Lily was stamped onto a white tag, and then we applied the ink using the 'Direct to Paper' technique, this is one of my favourite techniques. All the ladies tags looked so different, some ladies used alot of pressure when applying the ink to the tags, and others did theirs more lightly, they all looked lovely.

The second card is one of the LOTV stamps, i couldn't decide whether to put a Birthday greeting on this card, but i thought it could also be used as a wedding card, so i left it blank for the ladies to decide which they would prefer. Hope you all have a nice evening, will try and post a couple more cards in a day or so.

Luscious Lily

Hello, i'm back, its been soooo long since i have blogged. I have still been making cards but also been very busy, no excuse i know. I found some photos i took a while back of some cards i made for 'Dimension Stamps', so thought i would start back blogging by showing you a couple. The two cards were designed using Dimensions, 'The Luscious Lily' stamp set, it is a beautiful set, and they stamp so finely.

Gosh were does the time go, i have had quite a busy couple of weeks, we had a card class last Saturday with about 50 ladies split over the morning and the afternoon, so quite a bit of time was spent designing and prepping for that, but it was all worth it, as we had a good fun day. Then this week we have been designing some cards for Dimension Stamps Ltd, Roy is on Create and Craft on Tuesday. We also did a demo for our local craft shop on Tuesday and a make and take on the Thursday.

Just wanted to share with you the two cards i designed for our Saturday class, the first card is called 'Hold my Hand' by Diane Carubia, i've not used any of her designs before, but i thought this was so cute, it stamps beautifully. The second card is one of Dimension Stamps images, i thought it would make a good mans card.

Santas Selection

Hello everyone, what a horrible wet day. I was on holiday last week in Porthmadog, weather was a bit mixed, but managed to get a bit of walking done. Before i went away i did some examples for Dimension Fourth, using a stamp set called "Santas Selection". Here are just two of the cards i made using the set. For the first card i used shrink plastic for the greeting and the little embellishment on the thread, after i stamped the text block i then used distress ink and a water brush to high light the text, the 25th Dec stamp in the middle i covered with Glossy Accents. The second card, i coloured in using Promarkers, i used three of the stamps from the set to make this card.

I think summer has come back to us, been a nice sunny day here today. Just want to share a card i made you. I used an Inkylicious daisy stamp, it is a set of stamps, and there are a couple of flower heads and leaves in the set so you can build up the image further.

I have stamped the image on crumbcake card from SU, then i masked the flower, and stamped over with a Hero Arts script stamp. I coloured the image in with Karisma pencils.

Good afternoon everyone, giving myself some time to update my blog. I have had quite a busy couple of weeks, I have been doing some examples for Dimension Fourth, and we also had a workshop on Saturday, which was a very busy day.

The two cards which i have put on my blog were just two of the cards the ladies made on Saturday. The first card using the snowmen was a stamp by Dimension Fourth, i enjoyed working with these stamps, the images were always crisp and sharp. The second stamp was Penny Black, its a stamp i have had for a couple of years, one of my favs.
